TWO PEACE EVENTS YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS!!!

***PUBLIC PLEDGE SIGNING***
     -WHEN: Wed, January 15th, 1pm-3pm
     -WHERE: Lafayette Square, Downtown Buffalo
     
In recent months, people all across the country have been 
pledging to oppose war with Iraq with nonviolent direct 
action if necessary.  Locally, a magnificent number of people 
have made such a pledge throught the Pledge for Democratic 
Action.  The Pledge for Democratic Action will be holding this 
public pledge signing to raise concern over the issue of war 
with Iraq as well as to give citizens an opportunity to make 
a pledge themselves.  IF YOU HAVEN'T YET JOINED THE SWELLING 
RANKS OF THE PLEDGE FOR DEMOCRATIC ACTION, COME OUT THIS 
WEDNESDAY AND SIGN A PLEDGE CARD!!!  IF YOU'VE ALREADY SIGNED 
A PLEDGE CARD, COME ON OUT ANYWAY AND MAKE SOME NOISE!!!


***DIRECT ACTION MEETING***
     -WHEN: Wed, January 15th, 7pm
     -WHERE: Statler Towers, Buffalo Room (Statler Towers is 
      on Niagara Circle in Downtown Buffalo)

As the Bush Administration continues to bring our country closer 
to war with Iraq, Pledge for Democratic Action signers and other 
concerned citizens have been gathering to discuss how to use 
nonviolent direct action to oppose the war machine.  This meeting 
will be an opportunity to continue this dialogue.  ALL ARE WELCOME 
AND ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!!!
