Concerned Citizens Invite Policymakers and Environmental Officials to Public Meeting to Discuss Garbage Problems Citizens call on local law-makers to remove the New York City Garbage from their neighborhood Who: The Clinton-Bailey Community Association, a new community group, is organizing to stop the shipment and storage of municipal waste from New York City and other municipalities in their neighborhood. What: Outraged citizens distressed over New York City garbage being hauled via train into their neighborhood, have invited policymakers, environmental and health agency staff, and local residents to an open public meeting. At the meeting, residents will present their concerns related to garbage being stored at the SK Rail yard for long periods of time, which has caused a severe odor nuisance in the Clinton / Bailey community. Policymakers, along with environmental and health agency staff have been invited to the meeting, to talk about their efforts to address this environmental health problem.
