The 10th Annual "Solar Splash" research solar watercraft competition =
is coming back to Buffalo Delaware Park for an unprecedented third year.
  =20
I placed a small feature about the event on our website (you've got to =
indulge me on this one)
  =20
I think it would be a great place for the Green Party to get together, =
wear some green hard hats, network and have some fun.
  =20
Last year some of the local sponsors had some green-friendly displays =
pertaining to solar power and alternative fuel cars. The event attracts =
a nice crowd of locals as well as people who travel in to participate or =
spectate.
  =20
You could ask for a cooler happening. Green technology, summer =
weather, Delaware Park, out of town visitors, the striving of humanity, =
entertainment, research, competition, picnics... you get the picture.
  =20
If you're so inclined, maybe you all could spread the word to the =
party faithful. The event is scheduled for Wednesday June 18 through =
Sunday June 22. After a long cold winter of war, consolidation and =
casinos, the thought of a nice summer day at the park feels real nice...
